The Learning Teaching & Training (LTT) session within the Erasmus+ - YouthSmARTS project, held by the Federation for the Accessibility of Romania (FAR), in partnership with ACE-ES Romania, the COREMSA Foundation (Spain), Tous pour l'Europe (France) and Embaixada da Juventude (Portugal), took place in Malaga, Spain, between October 17-21, 2022.
12 people from the partner organizations participated in the session.
The aim of this session was to create a collaborative framework to enable youth workers and other professionals involved in youth work to increase the quality of their work and their initiatives and services to support young people (including vulnerable ones) to develop their potential creative, to have professional and personal success and to be connected with the various cultural and creative sectors through art and creativity programs as well as a new image about the entrepreneurial mindset in the cultural field.
Participants gained:
a) Knowledge of: key concepts of art and creativity programs; program design elements and steps; roles and participation in ACP; techniques and methods for designing an ACP; integrating digital tools and online collaboration methods. b) Skills: working cooperatively to create ACP using digital tools and methods; communication and presentation skills, organizational and time management skills, research and investigation skills, self-assessment and reflection skills, group participation and leadership skills and critical thinking, empathy and experimentation.
c) Attitudes/behaviors: openness to the needs of young people and the community through art and creativity; appreciation of diversity; openness to discover and capitalize on the potential of young people as contributors in artistic and creative fields; curiosity about new tools; flexibility in working in teams made up of different members.
At the end, participants were asked to rate the skills they learned from the LTTA and mention the benefits they received from participating in the activities provided during C1.
