Erasmus+ project "Let's be SmARTS" no. 2020-1-RO01-KA227-YOU-095447
The pilot session of the "Social innovation through culture and art" module took place in Bucharest, on 18.11.2022.
Main topics discussed:
What is street art? Types of street art. Street-Art for artists
Graffiti often gets a bad rap, but when these artists are taken for business, it transforms the city into a completely awesome modern place. Graffiti and street art aren't always legal, but that rarely stops street artists from showing off the power of their creativity.
The high-quality street has become one of the directions that attracts tourists from all over the world. Street art can tell a whole story about culture and life without a single word. More and more communities are incorporating street art and graffiti into the concept of modern blocks and areas of their cities.
Art in action
How does street art work? Photography, animation, comics, portraits of celebrities, current events in the world - all these do not pass without capturing the attention of street artists. One thing that unites them is the opportunity to convey the idea to a wide range of people. Therefore, the artist has such a responsibility, because he creates art for the masses. And it finds an answer in the hearts of the citizens. Museums, festivals, meetings of the best masters and ordinary lovers of urban beauty are open all over the world.
About street artists
About those who, thanks to talent, a sense of adventure, a sense of humor, have gained world fame. After all, it often happens that no one knows anything about the artist. It happened like it happened with Banksi in London. His famous "goal" (in the photo) is glorified all over the world. And all that was known about the Master is a short pseudonym. Now, Bankxi comes out of the shadows, participates in international projects, rules the world. One of the fans of his talent is Angelina Jolie.
Portuguese Alexander Pharot (vhils) amazing the imagination of the public with incredible plots, huge dimensions of work, intricate fabrics of many smallest details. One of his "autographs" is in Moscow.
The philosophy of street art
Draw on the walls! We were taught in childhood in childhood, leading to the good inscriptions on the streets of any city as examples. Inscriptions in the style of "Masha Dura" and "loop here" cannot cause a positive reaction. However, every year, such inscriptions appear again and again, and for more than 10 years, the streets of Russian cities have been flooded with "nobody" and it is not easy to understand. Thus, the attitude towards all visual street art suddenly became negative. Moreover, because he drew on the walls he is punished, and the desire of street artists to continue engaging in such activities disappears for the moment.
Graffiti history and how it is treated in Romania
Some say it's art, others say it's vandalism. What is certain is that it started to matter and give birth to all kinds of debates. An institute (from Romania) the National Institute for Cultural Research and Training
The conclusions are beautiful. It shows that we have a great aesthetic sensibility and that, in principle, through a group effort we have a chance not to destroy (even at all) the heritage and, in parallel, to manage to protect and capitalize on street art.
During the pilot, the young people present at the LTT session in Malaga, were able to bring many proofs of social innovation through art, photos and videos with graffiti from Malaga.
