Our project, "Youth smARTS&Creative for Inclusion and Participation!β (Letβs be smARTS) is a transnational initiative funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ Program, with the project number 2020-1-RO01-KA227-YOU-095447. The project started in March 2021 and will continue for 24 months, with the support of the European Commission through the Erasmus+ Program, KA227 β Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices.
The objective of the project is to create a collaborative framework for youth workers and other professionals involved in youth work, to improve the quality of their work and initiatives, and to support young people, including the vulnerable ones, to develop their creative potential and connect with the cultural and creative sectors through arts and creativity programs and an entrepreneurial mindset. The project responds to the challenges faced by many young people across Europe, including long-term unemployment, diverse discrimination, social exclusion, and poverty & marginalization. The project aims to equip these young people with transversal skills and provide them with opportunities to develop their creativity, talents, and potential.
The booklets provide comprehensive information and resources for each of the modules, covering topics such as design of creative products, social innovation through arts and culture, creativity and social business, relation to markets and audiences, and digital tools for social business in arts and creative sectors. These resources will help professionals involved in youth work to increase their competence and provide more inclusive, supportive, and innovative learning environments for young people.
In conclusion, the completion of these 5 booklets is a significant milestone in the "Youth smARTS&Creative for Inclusion and Participation!β (Letβs be smARTS) project and will provide valuable resources and information to support the professional development of youth workers and the creative potential of young people.
